Food was great, server was great. But it seems to cater more towards a younger atmosphere. Music during an off time was still loud. I liked it, but may not be the place if you want a quieter atmosphere.
We came in a big group and had a table available for us right away which was amazing because the parking lot was full so we thought there would be a wait. And although they were pretty busy, the drinks and food came pretty quick. To top it off they had karaoke and our group did a song and had a blast.
Me and my boyfriend ate here two nights ago and the manager, Jose took care of us. We had been here once before labor a year ago and enjoyed the Birria tacos so much we haven’t stopped talking about them since. We have ate Birria tacos at many other restaurants but none of them compare to the ones at Catrina’s. The service is amazing, the restaurant is spotless, and the food is absolutely phenomenal. I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone! We will definitely be back soon, it’s so worth the hour drive it takes us to get there! Thank you Jose for the amazing service!
Went to Catrina's for a weekday lunch. It was empty at noon... but it must be because of being in an area w/o offices nearby; it's certainly not for lack of fantastic food! First, the half and half iced tea was the best we've had! Usually iced tea is too sweet and at lunchtime soon after opening, not cold enough and watered down from melted ice; this tea was perfect. Second, the salsa with the obligatory chips and salsa was tasty and a very good texture, though it could have used a touch of heat. We had a Torta Mexicana off the lunch menu and a Taco Salad off the regular menu (I always order that on a first visit to compare w/other restaurants). Both were very generous portions for the price, but so delicious that we finished them off. Don't know why they call it "Fusion", but don't care; it was great. Service was good. Latin music played in the background but it was not in loud nighttime club/bar mode, so perfect for lunch. We will definitely add Catrina's to our lunch rotation. Highly recommended.
This place was beautiful. Jose was our waiter and took the best care of us. The food was delicious and the presentation was spectacular. I would definitely come back again and again!!
Stopped in to get some work done while my tires were getting changed across the street. First thing I noticed was the fun photo-op entrance—such a great touch! I was greeted warmly and shown to the bar, just like I asked. My bartender (wish I could remember his name—pretty sure it started with an F) was awesome. The margarita hit the spot, the food was delicious, and the whole place had such a cool vibe. I actually called my partner right away to tell her we’re definitely coming back soon—maybe for karaoke or live music, whatever that stage is for!
Food was great. The music is loud AF tho.
Authentic, tasty. Great service. Really enjoyed the huevos divorciados and the GIANT michelada! The owner, Jose, was super friendly. Will be coming back
